Great little place. Love the seat yourself and grab your own coffee layout. I can walk in, grab some coffee and relax without waiting at all. Food is good. The whole place is cozy, unpretentious and welcoming.

Such a great place to have breakfast, brunch, or lunch. And they have recently updated the interior. Also the patio is nice to sit out on a sunny day whether it be a cooler fall day or a warm sunny afternoon.

They say they specialize in eggs/breakfast and yet they will not poach eggs. Owner has attitude regarding customers requests. It's her way or the highway. Lots of other restaurants that do a better breakfast, including poached and no attitude.

Good place for breakfast

Sadly we must concur with the review from Caroline Peters. We have always loved the food and service but had breakfast here this past weekend and also experienced the same very slow service, failure to bring drinks we had ordered, the server was sneezing profusely as she was using the coffee machine and then touching her face under her mask repeatedly while we were there and putting her entire hand over the rim of the coffee when she finally served it. I think the server was genuinely trying to be careful but simply did not appreciate how unhygienic her behaviour really was and would benefit from more training.

Fantastic omelets to die for, home made jam and muffins. Service is fast and friendly. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

Owner is a very nice lady, breakfast is the best! Strong Coffee and Muffins are to die for! New potatoe salad is Awsome! Atmosphere is relaxing. Always served with a smile and great conversations. Food is always hot and portions are good. Prices are from $10 to $15 a plate. Bathroom is being remodeled. They are right on the main strip with paid parking across the street. Tables and chairs inside are nice...outside needs an upgrade. Would highly recommend. 4 stars 🙂

Holly is such a great host! She is funny, kind quirky and upbeat. It was pretty quiet and empty, but was an adorable space. A bit on the expensive side but the view really does make up for it. Cute idea of putting the peanuts in teacups!

Friendly, home cooked style breakfast. I loved the simple relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the eggs benny with smoked salmon... they choose to fry the egg instead of poaching which was a surprise - so if you like fried eggs you will like this benny.

It's all about the food, family and fun!! What a great little gem and gathering place with good down home food and a twist of west coast flare... on White Rock Beach, no less. My family loves going for breakfast and the positive vibe is a bonus. The fresh baked bread, raspberry muffins and homemade pan fries are delicious! The deli-to-go is great for taking home dinner. Yummmmm....

Had a nice breakfast at this cozy little place by the beach. The eggs benny I had was good as was the coffee. But as others have said, it is pricey and self-serve coffee sits at 3 bucks, although I believe its free refills. Food didn't disappoint or wow me however, it was just good.

Best quesadilla ever!

If I could give 0 stars I would. would not recommend this place, way over priced and poor service. The workers barely say anything to you when you arrive, sit down and give you your food. One put our food down and said nothing. $16 for a Benny with no meat. The hollandaise is extremely bland, the powdered packs you get at save on are more flavourful. The bacon even is really bland. The potatoes have zero seasoning on them and weren’t evenly cooked (some burnt pieces and some undercooked) $50 for two people, do yourself a favour and go to the wooden spoon instead. Similar pricing but at least there’s flavour and good service.

Excellent eggs benny with delicious potatoes. Coffee $3 and refill for a couple more bucks. Service was ok; I mean, not exceptional and not awful. Muffins are supposed to be delicious so got some to go.

The food is good but this place always surprises me with the little ways they gouge you at every menu opportunity ($5 for a coffee with one refill??). Nice location, decent breakfasts.

Really enjoyed the cappuccino and salmon eggs benedict here. The service was very friendly it felt like I was eating at Grandma's house. Highly recommended.

$35 for a poorly made omelette, hashbrowns and toast. No culinary skill whatsoever. Just stay at home and cook breakfast.

Major disappointment! I hadn't been there in years and was shocked to see how far downhill it has gone.

This is my favourite place to go for breakfast! The staff is amazing and the food is even better. Their pan fries are incredible. Highly recommend any of their eggs Benedict. I get it every time and I’ve never been let down! Best place for breakfast in all of white rock and south surrey

I got eggs, bacon and toast here. The bacon was awful and appeared to be turkey bacon and not actual bacon which was not mentioned on the menu. The pan fries weren't seasoned and were OK.They also delivered my meal without any water. Nobody came back to check if everything was alright. Since I didn't get water, I grabbed a Starbucks drink from the fridge where there were no prices listed, the drink was double the supermarket price. Not even all the staff knew the prices for drinks from the fridge and so the cashier had to ask someone else.Not worth the money.

My husband and I grew up in White Rock and Poultry in Motion used to be one of our favourite breakfast spots. We were so utterly turned off the restaurant this morning for a number of reasons. It took over 10 minutes for a server to come around with menus and when we ordered, it took another 10 minutes to get a glass of water. The server picked up the drinks from the rim and dropped them off at our table and then proceeded to grab dirty plates from another table. I saw her drop the plates at the sink, not wash her hands, and pick up fresh plates to drop off at another table. In these times with COVID being top of mind for most people, we were extremely turned off on the lack of personal hygiene happening at Poultry in Motion. We will not be returning as a result. Too bad as this spot used to be a real gem....

Don’t bother. I walked into this place and waited for 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. It’s a SMALL space. When I finally flagged down the waitress I had to ask for a menu and then I proceeded to sit for 15 being ignored till I gave up and left.Not worth it for a $14 muffin with fruit and a 6$ latte. Too bad awesome Laura’s was closed today. To be clear I don’t mind waiting if I at least am acknowledged to exist. It’s popular here and other people seem to like it. Personally I didn’t get the humour in the proclamation at the top of the menu “The place where you get your own damn coffee.” At $3 plus $2 for each refill I was holding out for the latte I couldn’t get a chance to order.

I was very disappointed. This place was way over priced. I paid $15 for a cup of fruit and thin grocery store boughten white bread that would have been $3 for an entire loaf. They didn't have homemade bread and I still paid $5 for bread from Safeway. I also ordered a fruit cup which I had to remind them I ordered and I asked for dry toast which they put butter on. Should have just had a homemade breakfast at home and saved my money.

A small restaurant on east beach in White Rock BC. It is very small but there is a patio out front. It serves all-day breakfasts and lunch. It closes mid afternoon. It is very popular with the locals and on summer weekends is extremely busy with lineups. The food is not outstanding but it is acceptable. Eggs Benedict are my favourite. The best thing about the place is it's atmosphere. It is hard to explain in words but its location, food, service, and tiny size go together to give the restaurant an unique atmosphere well worth experiencing.

We are from the states and just dropped in to Poultry in motion. It was around 11 a.m. so not very busy and we had an excellent experience. so, I was surprised to see some of the negative comments. My omelette was perfect and I commented to my husband while eating that "these are the best home fries (potatos) I have had in a long time." I guess your experience can differ but we were very pleased with everything.

Amazing breakfast.

Slow, slow, service and poorly trained server who put my partner's order in as two full orders of waffle when he thought he had confirmed to order one full order. When owner served up two huge waffles on seperate plates we stated our surprise and how the server confused us, how we only wanted one full order, she flatly told us that we better be hungry then. Even if customer ordered two orders, they only provided one serving of whipping cream and strawberries. My omlette was average, overpriced though, as the toast was stale (not crispy at all) and the potatoes smelled of fridge smell (obviously not fresh). Also watched the cook touch his sweaty face then go straight back to handling toast bare hands onto plates. Poor experience overall, as breakfast for two with coffee that you had to serve yourself came to $58!! And the owner didn't bother acknowledge their mistake/confusion.

What happened to this place? I was so sad for them. The service, the food, the poor value. I would like to support east beach business but I’ll be going elsewhere next time. 😥

Cozy little breakfast place on the beach with a basic menu. Food was OK and portions were big. Expect slow service on the weekends.

Its tiny . Not very many tables . We loved the home fry potatoes . Good breakfast .

We waited 50 minutes for our food. They had one cook in the kitchen. Coffee was like water. Food was undercooked when it finally arrived. We used to love this place. Really disappointed the last couple times we have been:( The French toast was $13 for 3 slices of bread and soggy.

Me and the fam went for a drive one night. We drove down to white rock beach and came across this place. We thought we would give it a try. I have nothing but good things to say about this hole in the wall. We went for breakfast one morning. Food was amazing menu was simple and clear. The food came pretty quick and the staff were very nice. Muffins were to die for and eggs bennidict was phenomenal. Sitting on the patio early in the morning eating some great food= a great experience.

There is certainly more than one chose for breakfast in the White Rock - South Surrey area but it is worth the travel time and the parking cost to have breakfast on East Beach. A bit on the funky side as in get your own coffee and water or go thirsty which actually is kind of fun. The Eggs Benny and/or the full breakfast with sausage, bacon, fried potatoes are both exceptional. The service is great. And, if you are a muffin fan ... well, the raspberry muffins are to quote my bride “heavenly!”

If you are willing to pay high prices for fried eggs on top of shaved deli ham with powdered sauce and call it eggs Benedict then this place is for you. Overpriced slop at best

Awesome home made bread. The Big One is the best breky choice. Tie your dog out front and they will probably get some bacon too :) Fav breky spot by far.

Over priced disgusting food. Completely inedible. The staff is also rude and completely racist. Check out the mental status of your employees. Please. One of them is incredibly bipolar and racist. Ask her to change medications or maybe get them changed. Thank you :) her name is Sam. Lol

Service is good very limited kitchen they don't do poached eggs.

Holly was a great host. The cappuccino was great tasting and her raspberry muffins we're so good I got a second one lol. She isn't lying they are tasty.

Terrible food and prices. 3 bucks for self serve coffee and $2 more if you want to get up and serve yourself another. Food was horribly prepared and bland, way over priced. For some bizzare reason Donald Trump was elected and this dump is busy, go figure.

Great homemade raspberry muffins and bread!

What a great place to have breakfast in White Rock. Very cozy and clean. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I had the omelet with spicy sausage and it was delicious. A great location with lots of parking across the street. A little tip, a great time of year to visit the restaurant is in the off season as it's not as busy as it is in summer.
